Excel Academy was established in 2013 with the idea of opening the doors of education to all. Excel Academy started its journey with 35 students in a few small classrooms in its first building at Dhanmondi Road 7; but now more than 900 students are studying in 3 different buildings located at Dhanmondi Road 7. Since its inception, we have strived to maintain a slow and measured but steady pace of growth in terms of curriculum development, embracing all challenges with positivity and adaptability. Excel Academy currently follows the British Standard Curriculum and we offer educational opportunities from playgroup through to O’ and A’ Level.
We provide a comprehensive educational experience that nurtures academic success, character development, and global citizenship.
From playgroup to class 7 Excel Academy combines elements of the national and British curricula to create its own comprehensive programme that exceeds standard requirements.
Excel Academy follows the Cambridge International Curriculum for students in grades 8–12, preparing them for GCE O Level and A Level examinations conducted by the British Council.
In addition to academic subjects, the curriculum includes extracurricular activities such as debating, performing arts (drama, music and dance), community service and sports, to promote all-round development.
The school prepares students for higher education at renowned institutions at home and abroad. Some students receive scholarships to study at these universities.
